Below are answers to some of the most common questions about how Motion Array licenses work before and after your subscription.

Can I subscribe for just one month and use the assets forever?

You can download and use Motion Array assets while your subscription is active. However, once your subscription has been cancelled or downgraded, you cannot use those assets in new or unpublished projects.

Projects that were completed and published during your active subscription remain covered by your license.

Can I keep using assets after I cancel my subscription?

After your subscription ends, you cannot use previously downloaded Motion Array assets in any new projects.

If you'd like to use Motion Array assets in new projects after your subscription has ended, you'll need to start a new subscription.

If I upload my video while my subscription is active, is it still licensed after I cancel?

Yes. If your project was published while your subscription was active, it remains licensed after your subscription ends.

For licensing purposes, published (or broadcast) means that the project has been made available to the public.

What if my video was Private or Unlisted?

If a video is uploaded as Private or Unlisted during your subscription and is only made Public after your subscription has ended, it is not considered published during your active subscription and is therefore not covered.

To remain licensed, the project must be made publicly available before your subscription ends.

Can I publish a project after my subscription has ended?

No. Projects that have not been published before your subscription ends are not covered by your license.

If you plan to publish a project after your subscription expires, you'll need an active subscription at the time the project is published.

Are film festival submissions covered?

Yes, provided your project meets one of the following conditions:

  • The project was submitted to the film festival while your subscription was active.
  • The project was already published during your active subscription and is submitted to a film festival later.

If a project was not previously published or submitted during your subscription and is only submitted after your subscription has ended, it is not covered.

Can I reuse an intro, outro, or other Motion Array asset in future videos?

If your intro, outro, or other project was published while your subscription was active, that existing published project remains licensed.

However, you cannot reuse Motion Array assets from that project in new videos after your subscription has ended. Each new project requires an active subscription at the time it is published.

I downloaded an asset while I was subscribed. Doesn't that mean I own the license forever?

Downloading an asset during your subscription gives you the right to use it in accordance with the Motion Array License Agreement.

Existing projects published during your active subscription remain licensed, but downloaded assets cannot be reused in new projects after your subscription has ended.
