Why am I seeing a watermark on my Motion Array Transitions?

If you're noticing a watermark on transitions you've downloaded from the Motion Array Library, don’t worry—it’s usually a quick fix. This issue can occur for a couple of reasons:

Common Causes

  1. Inactive Subscription
If your paid Motion Array subscription has expired or been canceled, any assets downloaded during that time may revert to a watermarked version. Motion Array assets require an active subscription to be used without a watermark.

  2. Signed Out of Motion Array Hub
The Motion Array Hub must be connected to your account to properly license and authenticate the assets you've downloaded. If you're signed out or disconnected, you might see watermarks on your transitions—even if your subscription is active.

How to Fix It

Follow these steps to remove the watermark and get your transitions working properly:

1. Check Your Subscription Status

  • Visit motionarray.com and log in to your account.

  • Go to My Account > Manage Subscription to confirm that your subscription is active.

  • If your subscription has expired, you'll need to renew or purchase a plan to continue using Motion Array assets without watermarks.

2. Log Into the Motion Array Hub

  • Open the Motion Array Hub on your computer.

  • Ensure you are logged in with the same account used to download the transitions.

  • If you are not logged in, click Sign In and enter your credentials.

3. Clear Premiere Pro’s Cache

Sometimes, Premiere Pro stores temporary files that may include watermarked previews. To clear them:

  • Open Premiere Pro.

  • Go to Preferences > Media Cache.

  • Click Delete Unused or Delete All Media Cache Files.

4. Restart Premiere Pro

After logging in and clearing the cache:

  • Close Premiere Pro completely.

  • Reopen your project to ensure the transitions re-load correctly and the watermark is removed.

Still Seeing a Watermark?

If you've completed all of the above steps and still see a watermark:

  • Double-check that the specific asset you’re using is from Motion Array and not a different source.

  • Try re-downloading the transition from the Hub.

  • If the issue persists, please contact Motion Array Support via the widget in the corner, with details about the asset and your setup.
