Why Can't I Upgrade?

If you are currently on a subscription using PayPal, and you receive the following prompt:

 

There was an error when upgrading your plan. Please contact our support team.

 

Please note that upgrades for some PayPal subscriptions are not automated. The best way to upgrade to Annual when your payment method is PayPal would be to:

  1. Downgrade to Free here by selecting Renewal settings (underneath the plans)

  2. Wait until the end of your current pay cycle for your account to downgrade to Free (you will retain paid status access until then).

  3. Once your account has been downgraded to Free, update your payment details by following these steps

  4. Then upgrade here

    If you bought your subscription using Apple Pay but are unable to upgrade, try switching back to your iOS device or using the Safari browser on your computer to complete the payment through Apple Pay.
